How it started
A calling to serve
National Agape Gift Bag & Sock Ministry was founded on the principle of agape — the unconditional, selfless love described throughout scripture. What started as a small local effort to distribute gift bags to at-risk children has grown into a national ministry touching thousands of lives each year.
We saw a need that wasn't being met. Families in shelters, children in underserved communities, and youth aging out of the foster care system were going without the most basic comforts. We decided to do something about it — one bag, one pair of socks, one family at a time.
Today, our ministry operates year-round, partnering with churches, schools, shelters, and community organizations across the country to deliver not just physical goods, but hope, dignity, and the message that someone cares.
